By accessing or using VitalizeHQ (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including visitors, registered users, and subscribers.

VitalizeHQ is a health and safety information platform that provides:

• Product ingredient analysis and safety scoring based on publicly available databases
• Water quality information sourced from EPA Consumer Confidence Reports
• AI-powered ingredient explanations
• Personalized health profile and allergen tracking

The Service aggregates data from third-party sources including Open Food Facts, EPA, IARC, and the FDA. We do not conduct independent laboratory testing of products unless explicitly stated.

The information provided by VitalizeHQ is for general informational and educational purposes only. It is not medical advice, nutritional advice, or a substitute for consultation with a qualified healthcare professional.

Our safety scores reflect a synthesis of published scientific literature and regulatory classifications. They do not account for individual health conditions, medications, or sensitivities. Always consult your doctor or a registered dietitian before making health decisions based on our content.

VitalizeHQ is not liable for any health decisions made based on information provided through the Service.

Registration: You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

Subscriptions: Paid plans are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. Prices are shown inclusive of applicable taxes where required. You may cancel at any time; your access continues until the end of the billing period.

Free tier: Free accounts include 20 product scans per month. Unused scans do not roll over.

Refunds: We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for new subscribers. After 30 days, subscriptions are non-refundable. To request a refund, contact support@vitalizehq.com.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for commercial purposes without our written permission
• Scrape, crawl, or programmatically extract data from the Service at scale
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or circumvent our scoring algorithms
• Use the Service to provide health advice to others for commercial gain
• Create accounts to circumvent the free-tier scan limit
• Upload false or misleading health profile information to manipulate results

The VitalizeHQ brand, scoring methodology, user interface, and original content are owned by VitalizeHQ. Underlying product data is sourced from Open Food Facts (ODbL license) and government databases (public domain). AI analysis outputs are generated using Anthropic's Claude API.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our proprietary content without written permission.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY INFORMATION WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VITALIZEHQ SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF HEALTH, PERSONAL INJURY, OR PROPERTY DAMAGE, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

Our product data is sourced primarily from Open Food Facts, a community-maintained database. While we apply quality checks, we cannot guarantee the accuracy of all product data. If you find an inaccuracy, please report it so we can correct it.

Water quality data reflects the most recent available EPA Consumer Confidence Reports, which are updated quarterly. Your actual tap water quality may differ between reporting periods.

You may delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, at our discretion, without prior notice for serious violations.

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which VitalizeHQ is incorporated, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.

We may update these terms as the Service evolves. We will notify you by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance.
